Frequently asked questions
My friends can't find my room.+
Everyone needs to be nearby with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth turned on (you don't need internet). The first time, iOS asks for permission to find devices on your local network: tap Allow. If you declined it, go to iOS Settings → Pachanga and turn on Local Network.
How many players can play?+
From 2 to 8 players, each on their own iPhone or iPad. Trivia or Punishment works with 2 players; The Crasher, Zinger and Out of Context need at least 3. Truth or Dare is played on a single phone.
Does everyone need the Pachanga Pass?+
No. Only the person who creates the room needs it. Everyone who joins plays the unlocked games and Spicy Mode for free.
Can I try a premium game without paying?+
Yes. Watch a short video ad and your room unlocks every party game for one hour.
Can I change the timers or the number of rounds?+
With the Pachanga Pass, the host can open Game Settings in the room to change the time to write, vote and answer, the rounds of each game, the trivia questions and lives, and turn the Dare Wheel on or off.
Someone got disconnected in the middle of a game.+
Keep the app open on screen: if a phone locks or switches apps, it may lose the connection. When it comes back, it rejoins the same room automatically and keeps its spot.
I bought the Pachanga Pass but games are still locked.+
Open Settings (gear icon) and tap Restore Purchases, using the same Apple ID you bought it with.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Pachanga Pass. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and doesn't renew.
Is there drinking in the game?+
No. Whoever loses gets a light dare chosen by the Dare Wheel or voted by the group: an impression, a talent, a mild embarrassment or a confession. Nobody has to do anything they're not comfortable with.
What languages is Pachanga available in?+
English, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil). The app follows your iPhone's language, and a room uses the language of the host's phone.
