Privacy Policy for CourtCast

The CourtCast mobile application is published on the App Store by Gustavo Isaac López Núñez, under the HiveKit name (“we”, “our” or “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles and why.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on your usage, we may collect:

• Device & Usage Data: Device model, OS version, timestamps, and app interaction data.
• Advertising Identifiers: Anonymous identifiers to deliver relevant content.

2. Third-Party Services

We may employ third-party services for core functionalities:

• Analytics: TelemetryDeck, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand which features are used (for example, which games are played). Data is anonymous, not linked to you and never used for tracking. We do not send player or team names.
• Payments: Handled by Apple through the App Store and processed with RevenueCat, using an anonymous identifier. We never access your financial data.
• Ad Networks: Services like AdMob to provide in-app advertising.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Your current game, game history, team names, colors, saved presets and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers.

4. Additional Details

• Ads are shown only to free users, through Google AdMob. In regions that require it (such as the EEA and UK), CourtCast asks for your consent before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings → Ad Privacy Choices.
• CourtCast does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
• Showing the scoreboard on a TV uses Apple's Screen Mirroring or a cable. Nothing is sent to our servers.

5. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to delete it.
